Peter Occhiogrosso is indeed a real person; he has written or co-written
other books besides the one with Frank. One of them, "Once a Catholic", is
a collection of interviews with several famous people who grew up in the
Catholic faith. It includes a chapter on FZ.

It is 371 pages in the original hardcover version, and contains
interviews with other prominent Catholics and ex-Catholics who
discuss the influence of the Church and growing up Catholic had on
them, including George Carlin, Mary Gordon, Eugene McCarthy, Robert
Stone (whose latest book, "Damascus Gate", was just published), and
Jimmy Breslin.
