  Personal fave Vai moment on a Zappa album: his playing on "Approximate" from Stage Vol. 4. Frank pushed him WAY up in the mix (for once). I've told Steve how spectacular I think that piece is.

  i'm sure you are thinking of ycdtosa vol. 4 "approximate" where you hear "heinz... heinz... make foood". i just cant figure out if its ed or tommy that is saying it. i would think probably tommy.
