Here's another clue for you all... The guitar arpeggio opening to
"Stuff Up The Cracks" is very similar to the opening of Johnny Guitar
Watson's "Lonely Lonely Nights" (I think that is the title), which I
heard on the "Three Hours Past Midnight" CD (on the Ace label). This
arpeggio may be a JGW trademark, since three of the songs on that disc
have similar intros.

If you decide to leave me, it's all over
If you decide to leave me, it's all over
I tried to make you happy
I gave you all my love
There's nothing left for me to do but cry

The Mothers of Invention performed "Those Lonely Lonely Nights" in
1969. (It can be heard on tapes of 2/69 Miami, 2/23/69 (early)
Toronto, 5/17/69 Detroit, and 5/19/69 Toronto, as well as 5/23/75 El
Paso.)
